My question still stands: at what point would you consider someone "pushing" the hiking straps definitions/usage, and protest them? And how would you keep it fair for all who are using them? There doesn't seem to be a method of installing hiking straps so that all skippers, all sizes, would be hiked to the same weight advantage. That is my basic opposition to hiking straps. We should try and schedule a meeting in late September to address these issues.
