My engine, as shown in the photo page, is a 4hp Johnson. Due to the fact that it is a 2 cylinder, is is very smooth and quiet. It has both an internal and external tank. It is a 20" long shaft, and is perfectly adequate at speed as the boat tends to power "bow up", like most other boats getting pushed through the water do.
