In light conditions less than 8 knots true wind the A27's cannot keep up with the Melges 24. Interesting is the M24 rates 90 and the A27 rates 78 here on the bay. In the winter when the wind is light the M24's sail right on by. So I wish we could have a dual rating system here not based on course, but on season.
