When I had Polar Bear built I had an extra set of the Wichard waterproof u-bolts mounted 12" behind the stock Spin. block ones. I mount my runners to these to keep them free and clear of the spin block and spin sheets. Works well. The important thing is to have a good backing plate. USI used the same size and type of backing plate used on the spin and jib blocks u-bolts.
