Since fixing the angle issue, our mount works perfectly with the Evinrude motor. Also, we are able to carry a motor that weighs 12-22 lbs less (depending on 4 stroke or not). Granted, it does not push us as fast as the 5 HP ad that is a decet consideration if having to motor long distances...
